Cubic Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company') provides PIXAID service (hereinafter 'Service') through the PIXAID app. In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act (hereinafter 'Personal Information Protection Act'), the company has established and publicized the following Personal Information Processing Policy to protect personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances efficiently and promptly.

This <Personal Information Processing Policy> applies to all services operated by the company (hereinafter 'Service'). If the company amends this policy, it will be posted on the website or services operated or notified individually.

Article 1 (Purpose of Personal Information Processing)

The company processes users' personal information for the following purposes in providing the Service. The information being processed will not be used for any purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be taken.

Additionally, the company provides services to users aged 14 and over, and if the company becomes aware of the collection of personal information from children under 14, it will promptly delete such information.

  1. Membership Registration and Management

    Processing personal information for verifying membership registration intent, maintaining and managing membership qualifications for subscription services and Lemons (in-app electronic payment method), preventing misuse of services, statistical analysis and utilization of service usage, various notifications and announcements, grievance handling.

  2. Improvement of Goods, Advertising, and Service Quality

    Processing personal information for providing customized services including services and Lemons (in-app electronic payment method), content, marketing, and advertising (providing event and promotional information), providing customized UI, service quality improvement, and research and analysis for new service development.

  3. Filming and AI Image Transformation, Copyright Service Provision

    Processing personal information for the purpose of AI shooting/editing, image transformation, and copyright service provision.

  4. Customer Service (C/S) Processing

    Personal information can be processed for handling C/S issues related to service provision, such as operational errors. This includes verifying user's identity, confirming inquiries, contacting for investigation, notification, and informing the results for the purpose, and using personal information after obtaining separate consent from the user in accordance with Article 15 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

  5. Friend Invitation ID Issuance and Promotion Code

    When users want to receive benefits or use the service through friend invitation and promotional codes, the user's device ID and friend invitation code information are processed for the purpose of providing the service.

Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

  1. The company processes and retains personal information within the retention and usage period specified in laws or agreed upon by the user at the time of collecting personal information.

  2. If the retention period is not specified, the company will use the personal information until the purpose of processing is achieved, the user withdraws membership, or until the retention period stipulated by relevant laws. Once the purpose of use is achieved or the retention period ends, the company will promptly destroy the personal information.

  3. The processing and retention period of each user's personal information are as follows:

    3.1 Membership Registration and Management: Until the member withdraws.

    (However, personal information collected at the time of membership registration may be temporarily stored for 14 days for recovery and protection of victims in case of damages caused by identity theft.)

    However, in the following cases, personal information will be retained until the end of the respective reason:

    a) If an investigation or inquiry due to a violation of related laws is in progress, until the conclusion of the investigation or inquiry.

    b) If there is a remaining creditor-debtor relationship due to service usage, until the settlement of the respective creditor-debtor relationship.
